Had an amazing time. Everyone at Cat Ba Climbing was really helpful and kind, especially Julie and Bee. They had wonderful energy. We caught a boat with them to Moody Beach and then went on a 3 day climbing, kayaking and deep water soloing trip where we stayed in a floating home. It was a great time. I wasn't too sure about the DWS, since I hate heights without ropes and I thought it might be too cold, but it was so amazing! They even had a small fire and towels to help us warm up between climbs.

It was such a wonderful experience with Cat Ba Climbing! I did a half day top roping with Alex, and the team are really professional and flexible when I'm the more experienced person in the group while others are beginners. They set up different routes from 4a to warm up and for beginners, then set up some 6b and 6b+ for me. Appreciate it. The deep water soloing is truly a one in a lifetime experience! I never thought i could jump from 15m high without the support of Bee and Joe! They also offer me to stay and volunteer with the team, that's a great opportunity for me! Highly recommended!

The people at Cat Ba Climbing were the highlight of our trip. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful, not only for climbing but for travel recommendations, and support (and even visited my in the hospital when I got sick.) I came wanting to do a top roping day and was so thankful Joe talked me into a deep water solo day. Climbing was appropriate for all levels, instruction and precautions were thoughtful and heavily safety oriented. Julie was kind and helpful with providing info and the whole team was incredibly relaxed and great company to be around. I will be returning to Cat Ba for more climbing adventures in the future and can’t recommend this group enough. Thanks all!
