After a short safety briefing, we transfer to Ben Beo Harbour, where our boat is waiting to take you into Lan Ha Bay.

Climbing Face 1 – SEA FACE

The Perfect Introduction to Deep Water Soloing

Our first climbing sector is Sea Face, one of the most beginner-friendly DWS locations in Lan Ha Bay.

This long limestone wall offers approximately 15 climbing routes from 4a to 7a, with most routes ranging between 5a and 6b.

Sea Face is ideal for building confidence and getting comfortable with climbing above deep water before progressing to more challenging routes.

Warm-Up Route – 4A, 5m

Your session begins with an easy 4A warm-up route, positioned close to the water.

It is perfect for:

Learning how DWS works

Getting comfortable climbing above the sea

Practicing jumping and landing techniques

Building confidence

Warming up before harder routes

After the warm-up, your guide will recommend routes based on your climbing ability, experience, confidence, and energy level.

For climbers who prefer lower-commitment climbing, Sea Face also offers easier traverse sections with smaller jumps.

1:30 PM – Kayaking & Hidden Bay Exploration

Discover the Quieter Side of Lan Ha Bay

After lunch, continue your adventure by kayak and explore some of the most peaceful and beautiful corners of Lan Ha Bay.

Paddle through hidden caves, secluded lagoons, and narrow waterways surrounded by towering limestone cliffs.

One of the highlights is exploring the mysterious Dark & Light Caves, where you can paddle through the natural cave passages and enter peaceful hidden lagoons.

As you continue kayaking, discover quiet corners of the bay that are difficult to reach by larger boats. Depending on sea and weather conditions, you may have opportunities to explore secluded beaches and untouched coastal areas, far away from the busy tourist routes.

Swim in the Emerald Water

There will also be time to stop for a refreshing swim.

Jump into the clear emerald-green water, relax in the sea, and enjoy the dramatic limestone landscape surrounding you.

For those who prefer to stay on the kayak, you can simply paddle slowly and enjoy the scenery.

Wildlife & Nature

Keep your eyes open while kayaking through the quieter areas of Lan Ha Bay.

If you are lucky, you may spot the Cat Ba langur, one of the world's rarest primates, moving through the limestone forests and cliffs.

Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, but the peaceful environment provides a great opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Cat Ba's protected landscape.

Explore Secluded Beaches & Hidden Lagoons

Depending on the tide and weather conditions, your guide may take you to less-visited beaches and hidden lagoons.

These quiet locations are perfect for:

  • Swimming
  • Relaxing
  • Taking photos
  • Exploring the coastline
  • Enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Lan Ha Bay

The kayaking section is not simply a transfer between destinations—it is an opportunity to slow down, explore, and experience the natural beauty of the bay at water level.
