Hidden Valley, also known as The Farm, has been under development since 2013. It was first managed by Asia Outdoors and then by Cat Ba Climbing, who has been responsible for major developments in the last two years. Cat Ba Climbing was founded in 2014 by local guide Mr.Zoom and employes Western and Vietnamese staff. Hidden Valley is located near Cat Ba town in a quiet, private valley for which Cat Ba Climbing has an access arrangement with the current owner. 

Cat Ba National Park is a special-use forest of Vietnam, a world biosphere reserve. Cat Ba National Park is under the management of the People's Committee of Hai Phong city, with its main headquarters located in Cat Hai district, Hai Phong.
